- SilverTouch odor control antimicrobial underpad uses an EPA registered antimicrobial solution called SilverClear to reduce odor-causing bacteria
- SilverClear is registered with the EPA as a preservative to protect products from staining and product deterioration caused by mold, mildew or bacteria and to inhibit the growth of odor causing bacteria on the product itself. This product does not protect user.
- Bacterial growth is inhibited within the underpad, which helps eliminate the source of the odor rather than just masking it
- The odor-control application does not wash out, and there are no special laundering instructions
