Top layer of Gel Polymer Technology (GPT) resists bottoming out and allows air to pass through open cells, channeling heat away from the body and reducing moisture which contributes to skin breakdown. High-density foam layer and firm foam base help redistribute pressure and provide support. Durable, breathable stretch cover reduces shear and friction and stays in place with a nonskid bottom and hook-and-loop strips. Low-friction for smooth patient transfers. Fluid Protection Zipper Guard (FPZG) protects against fluid contamination. CAL 117 compliant.
