- They feature a black base made of tough ABS plastic to withstand a wide range of chemicals (avoid chlorinated hydrocarbons)
- 4 plastic rails covered with a polymer strip hold slides even if tray is held at an angle and 4 rubber feet help ensure base stability
- When humidity is needed, wells between rails will hold up to 1 mL of water securely without splashing while the middle wells will hold up to 2 mL each
- Manipulation is made easy by using only 1 hand, and the drain plug can be removed to empty the system
